MI/Hoss Brittany Adult Male in Appleton, Wisconsin

My story

Hoss is almost 2-1/2 years old, and he has energy to spare. Hoss is being fostered in Michigan.  He loves to snuggle and lay directly on you while you relax.  He loves to be outside more than anything and spends countless hours hunting squirrels and birds in the backyard.  He is doing quite well on a leash, he uses a harness to walk and doesn’t pull as much as he ping pongs from one smell, site, or sound to the next.  With continued work, he’ll do great! Hoss is still working on potty training but does well at alerting to go out if you’re paying attention.  He sleeps through the night with his human and does not have any accidents overnight.  Hoss is not destructive and does not need to be crated, he stays in a bedroom while his foster mom is out of the house and does fine for 4-5 hours without a problem.  Hoss does great with other dogs; he has been exposed to cats and has a healthy curiosity but has not had any issues with them either.  Hoss does not like to be grabbed near his neck and ears, he might cry or back away, if you approach him calmly and with a soft voice, he will do just fine.  He allows his foster mom to trim his nails, clean his ears, bath him, and give him meds without any issue.  Hoss can JUMP!  He would do best in a yard with a 6-foot privacy fence.  Hoss is doing will with coming when he’s called and his “sit” command too!

He is up to date on all vetting, including vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.  You MUST have a 6' fenced in yard with lots of room to run. If you think you might want to adopt Hoss, please consider filling out an application online at: https://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application.  After filing out an application please contact the coordinator for the State in which you reside.  The contact information for the State Coordinators can be found at the following link: /contacts.asp. Hoss' adoption fee is $375.00 which will help NBRAN cover the vetting costs and other expenses associated with bringing Britts like Hoss back to good health and readying them for adoption. Don't live in Michigan or close by, No Problem!  NBRAN also has a wonderful transport team who will help bring Hoss to his new family, up to 1400 miles with the adoptive family being responsible for the last 100 miles, at no additional fee.
